This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 8th ranked Hapoel Z/MM (2-8) to fifth ranked Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (4-5) 67-65 on Monday evening. The game was dominated by American players. Four Hapoel Z/MM players scored in double figures. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion maintains fifth place with 4-5 record. Hapoel Z/MM lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with eight games lost. They share it with Hap.Petah Tikva.
