There was no surprise when 8th ranked Quilmes MP (10-15) lost to sixth ranked Argentino (13-12) in Junin 59-73. Quilmes MP was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Novar Gadson (201-89, college: Rider, agency: DTMones) scored 24 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Emiliano Basabe (193-92) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. International guard Luca Vildoza (190-95) responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds and the former international Diego Cavaco (198-79) scored 12 points. Argentino moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Olimpico LB. Quilmes MP at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with Penarol. Argentino will play against league's second-placed Estudiantes C. in Concordia in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Quilmes MP will play at home against Quimsa (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
