Leader Maccabi Ramat Gan delivered the ninth victory on Monday night. This time they beat 6th ranked Ramat Hasharon (3-6) 83-75. Maccabi Ramat Gan made 27-of-30 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. The game was also dominated by American players. It was a great evening for power forward Danielle Adams (185-89, college: Texas A&M) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 16 rebounds. Guard Chelsea Hopkins (173-90, college: San Diego St.) helped adding 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Cierra Burdick (188-93, college: Tennessee) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!) and guard Jasmine Thomas (175-89, college: Duke) scored 24 points and 9 rebounds. Maccabi Ramat Gan (9-1) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place. Ramat Hasharon lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Maccabi Raanana. Maccabi Ramat Gan will meet at home Hap.Petah Tikva (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ramat Hasharon will play against Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
