There was a small surprise when eighth ranked TLU/Kalev (3-10) smashed on the road 6th ranked Valga (5-10) 99-78 on Tuesday. The game without a history. TLU/Kalev led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Serbian center Djordje Dzeletovic (205-93, agency: AproK Sports Group) fired 36 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Reimo Tamm (188-84) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Latvian Ivars Rihards Zvigurs (198-95) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and naturalized American forward Renato Lindments (202-84, college: Westfield St.) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Valga players scored in double figures. TLU/Kalev maintains eighth place with 3-10 record. Loser Valga keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. TLU/Kalev's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tallinn Noorteliiga.
