Regular Season Round 26: Shanghai S. - Jilin NE T. 115-84

CBA top team - Shanghai Sharks (22-4) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked Jilin Tigers (11-15) 115-84. They outrebounded Jilin Tigers 54-40 including a 37-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. American point guard Jimmer Fredette (188-89, college: BYU) scored 37 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and French Guerschon Yabusele (201-95) chipped in 19 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Shanghai Sharks players scored in double figures. American swingman Jabari Brown (193-92, college: Missouri) responded with 36 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and guard Tianyi Liu (190-94) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shanghai Sharks maintains first position with 22-4 record. Jilin Tigers at the other side keep the thirteenth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with TianJin S.. Shanghai Sharks will play against Liaoning Hunters (#4) in Yingkou in the next round. Jilin Tigers will play on the road against Fujian (#16) in Jinjiang and hope to get back on the winning track.
