Regular Season Round 24: Nova Ves - Levice 89-78

Bottom-ranked Nova Ves managed to get a third victory on Wednesday night. This time they won against fourth-ranked Levice 89-78. Nova Ves forced 22 Levice turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian guard Aleksa Solevic (183-93, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists and Canadian forward Matt Marshall (198, college: Brock) who added 8 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Nova Ves' coach David Demecko used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Jarvis Summers (190-93, college: Mississippi) with 15 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Josh Nofflet (194-88, college: Lee) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Five Levice players scored in double figures. Nova Ves (3-19) moved-up to tenth place. Loser Levice keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Nova Ves will meet higher ranked Prievidza (#3) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Levice will play against Rieker KN and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
