Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked San Fernando (3-9) was defeated at home by first ranked Yosiquese (10-2) 74-63 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 49-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for Brazilian Rodrigo Goncalves (200-87) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Arturo Lopez (188-92) helped adding 13 points. The best for the losing side was center Pablo Roman (206-95) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds and guard Juan Miguel Pina (189-96) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Yosiquese maintains first place in Group D-B with 10-2 record, which they share with ULB OH!TELS. Loser San Fernando keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Yosiquese will face Huelva (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. San Fernando will play against Real Betis SVL 2 (#8) in Sevilla and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
