No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Houthalen (8-8) defeated on the road bottom-ranked RPC Anderlecht (3-12) 93-84 on Saturday. Houthalen made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Point guard Chiel Koonings (180-90) stepped up and scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and point guard Darnell Snyers (181-98) chipped in 24 points and 4 assists. Power forward Nicolas Neskens (201-84, agency: Promotex) responded with 28 points and the former international point guard Geoffrey Hockins (188-88) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. RPC Anderlecht's coach Philippe Hoornaert rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Houthalen moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Soba and Melsele. RPC Anderlecht lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with 12 games lost. They share it with Ekeren.
