Regular Season Round 18: WKK Wroclaw - Otmuchow 89-63

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Otmuchow (4-11) was outplayed on the road by eighth ranked WKK Wroclaw (7-10) 89-63 on Saturday. WKK Wroclaw looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Point guard Jakub Kobel (184-98) had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds, 12 assists and 6 steals to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Tomasz Jozefiak (188-93) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five WKK Wroclaw players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Krzysztof Wilk (201-90) with 18 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Artur Barycza (195-86) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. WKK Wroclaw maintains eighth position with 7-10 record, which they share with Gniezno. Otmuchow lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with 11 games lost. WKK Wroclaw's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Wroclaw Slask.
