Regular Season Round 15: Valls Nutrion - Sant Adria 58-95

The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Sant Adria's (7-5) road victory over 7th ranked Valls Nutrion (5-7) 95-58 on Saturday. The game without a history. Sant Adria led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sant Adria forced 20 Valls Nutrion turnovers. It was a great evening for point guard Jaume Lobo (180-97) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points. Guard Francesc Pascal (188-85) helped adding 18 points and 7 steals. Four Sant Adria players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Josep Miguel (204) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Alejandro Alba (193-77) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sant Adria moved-up to fifth place in Group C-B, which they share with Palma II. Valls Nutrion at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. Sant Adria will face Cerdalyola (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Valls Nutrion will play against the league's second-placed Quart and hope to win that game.
