Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Coin and 4th placed Cazorla had identical 5-6 record. This time Coin used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Cazorla 95-91 on Saturday night. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 48-43 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Cazorla was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for guard Francisco Robles (191-81) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 6 assists. Center Juan Vasco (200-83) helped adding 16 points and 9 rebounds. Coin's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American point guard LeShaun Murphy (183-90, college: Auburn-Montgomery) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import forward Andrew Kelly (201-91, college: Alaska-Fairb.) scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Coin (6-6) moved-up to fourth place in Group D-A, which they share with Medacbasket. Loser Cazorla dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. Coin will face Meridiano Baza (#7) in Alicante in the next round. Cazorla will play at home against the league's second-placed Andujar and hope to win that game.
