Very expected game when 16th ranked Zamorano (4-13) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Agustinos-Leclerc (8-9) 77-69. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-15. But Zamorano won second period 23-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 27 personal fouls committed by Zamorano helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Point guard Jose Medina (185-93) nailed 26 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winning side and British center Jack Crook (211-93, college: Seattle) accounted for 12 points and 15 rebounds. Nigerian forward Jeffrey Solarin (193-92, college: Idaho St.) came up with 9 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Chris Hansen (193-93, college: Idaho St.) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Zamorano in the defeat. Agustinos-Leclerc moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Zornotza. Zamorano lost fifth consecutive game. Zamorano at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Agustinos-Leclerc's next round opponent will be higher ranked Moron (#5) in Morón de la Frontera and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zamorano will play at home against Blancos de Rueda (#8) and hope to win that game.
