Rather expected game when 8th ranked Real Betis SVL 2 (1-11) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Utrera (6-6) 72-63 on Saturday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Utrera made 7 blocks. It was a great evening for American forward David Atkinson (203-91, college: Salem Intern.) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Juan Toledo (190-96) helped adding 15 points. Four Utrera players scored in double figures. Utrera's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was guard Cayetano Abreu (185) with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Polish point guard Andrzej Pluta (183-0) scored 16 points.
