An exciting game was when first ranked First ranked Dacin Tigers faced their biggest opponent Fubon Braves. Dacin Tigers (17-6) defeated Fubon Braves (15-8) 91-77. Dacin Tigers had a 36-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 23 rebounds and 6 blocks. Guard Yi-Xiang Zhou (191-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Dacin Tigers players scored in double figures. American center Earl Barron (211-81, college: Memphis) answered with 15 points and 8 rebounds and the former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) added 17 points in the effort for Fubon Braves. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dacin Tigers have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 17-6 record. Fubon Braves at the other side keep the second position with eight games lost. Dacin Tigers will play against Taiwan Beer (#4) in the next round. Fubon Braves will play against Bank of Taiwan and hope to get back on the winning track.
