Regular Season Round 15: Den Bosch - Rotterdam 82-80

The most exciting game of round 15 in the Eredivisie took place in Den Bosch. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked Rotterdam (5-10) to fourth ranked Dukes UDB (8-7) 82-80 on Saturday evening. Dukes UDB made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Dukes UDB had a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. 28 personal fouls committed by Rotterdam helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American guard Antwan Scott (188-92, college: Colorado St.) who led his team to a victory with 30 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. The former international forward Stefan Wessels (203-84) contributed with 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American guard La'Shard Anderson (185-89, college: Boise St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 10 assists and forward Coen Stolk (195-97) added 9 points in the effort for Rotterdam. Dukes UDB have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 8-7 record. Rotterdam at the other side keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. Dukes UDB are looking forward to face higher ranked Leiden (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rotterdam will play against Leeuwarden (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
