The game had a very big importance for ninth-ranked Orchesien BC as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Orchesien BC edged second-best Quimper UJAP on the road 87-86. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Quimper UJAP. Quimper UJAP was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 25-18 third quarter run of Orchesien BC. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with 3 other teams. Quimper UJAP at the other side still keeps top place with five games lost. Quimper UJAP will play next round against Lorient trying to get back on the winning streak. Orchesien BC will try to continue on its current victory against fifteenth ranked Vendee Challans at home.
