Top ranked Twarde Pierniki (13-2) recorded its second loss in Wloclawek on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Anwil (10-6) 91-73. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Michal Chylinski (196-86, agency: Interperformances) who scored 24 points. Croatian center Josip Sobin (203-89, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Anwil players scored in double figures. American guard Kyle Weaver (198-86, college: Washington St.) produced 20 points and 6 rebounds and Croatian forward Jure Skific (202-88, agency: 011 Sports) added 15 points respectively for the guests. Anwil moved-up to third place. Twarde Pierniki at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. Anwil are looking forward to face Trefl (#7) in Sopot in the next round. Twarde Pierniki will play at home against PGE Turow (#6) and is hoping to win this game.
