Regular Season Round 25: Prievidza - Nova Ves 90-75

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Prievidza (16-5) beat at home 10th ranked Nova Ves (3-20) 90-75. Prievidza players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American guard Andre Jones (191-90, college: Winthrop) stepped up and scored 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Serbian center Rastko Dramicanin (208-86, agency: AproK Sports Group) chipped in 15 points. At the losing side swingman Adam Antoni (191-95) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and Canadian forward Matt Marshall (198, college: Brock) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Four Nova Ves players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains third place with 16-5 record having five points less than leader Kosice. Nova Ves at the other side keep the tenth position with 20 games lost. Prievidza will play against Rieker KN (#6) in Komarno in the next round. Nova Ves will play at home against the league's second-placed Inter Bratislava (#2) and hope to get back on the winning track.
