Regular Season Round 13: Reims - SIG 63-39

The game in Reims supposed to be also worth to mention about. 5th ranked SIG (7-6) played at the court of seventh ranked Reims (8-5). Reims smashed SIG 63-39. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of SIG. The game was mostly controlled by Reims. SIG was better in third quarter 13-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They held SIG to an opponent 22.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.5 percent accuracy of the winners. Worth to mention a great performance of Sarah Ousfar (183-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Bosnian power forward Irma Rahmanovic (187-91) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Darline NSoki (182-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Celia Nadia Mauler (168-93) added 11 points in the effort for SIG. Reims moved-up to fourth place, which they share with COB Calais and Bretagne Basket. SIG at the other side dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. Reims' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Roche in La Roche and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. SIG will play on the road against Dunkerque (#13) and hope to win that game.
