Bottom-ranked Roannais managed to get a third victory, breaking the series of eight consecutive losses on Saturday night. This time newly promoted Roannais won against thirteenth-ranked CFBB in Paris 61-48. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 43-28 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Roannais dominated on the defensive end, holding CFBB to just 7 points in first quarter. They also forced 22 CFBB turnovers. Argentinian power forward Agostina Burani (184-91) fired 7 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Jessica Clemencon (190-89) chipped in 15 points. Swingman Tima Pouye (176-99) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Kadiatou Sissoko (180-99) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Roannais (3-10) moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Dunkerque. CFBB lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with 11 games lost. Roannais will meet higher ranked Bretagne Basket (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CFBB will play against COB Calais (#4) having rather not much hope for a victory.
