Venafro has finally registered their first victory this season after 13 consecutive losses. The win is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Senigallia (6-8) 78-69 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of San Marino swingman Gioele Moretti (190-93) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Marco Rossi (183-81, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who added 18 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Andrea Maggiotto (194-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Marco Gnaccarini (185-81) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Venafro maintains sixteenth position in B with 1-13 record. Loser Senigallia keeps the ninth place with eight games lost. Venafro will face higher ranked Campli (#4) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
