No shocking result in a game when third ranked Pescara (12-4) outleveled at home 10th ranked Giulianova (6-10) 96-65 on Sunday. Pescara looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Simone Pepe (184-93, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and guard Pasquale Battaglia (188-93) who added 18 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Pescara players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Danilo Gallerini (185-80) responded with 18 points and 4 assists and center Riccardo Rosa (-96) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Pescara maintains third position in B with 12-4 record behind leader Omegna, which they share with Cento. Loser Giulianova dropped to the ninth place with ten games lost. Pescara will face Monteroni (#15) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Giulianova will play against Taranto (#12) and hope to win that game.
