The game between second ranked Fubon Braves (16-8) and 6th ranked Bank of Taiwan (5-19) in on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Fubon Braves beat Bank of Taiwan 67-55. The winners were led by American center Earl Barron (211-81, college: Memphis) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds and guard Wei-Che Lin (182-92) supported him with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 18 points and 21 rebounds by Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) did not help to save the game for Bank of Taiwan. Forward Jie Guo-Shao (190-90) added 8 points and 6 rebounds for Fubon Braves. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fubon Braves maintains second position with 16-8 record behind leader Dacin Tigers. Bank of Taiwan lost ninth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with 19 games lost. Fubon Braves will meet Yulon Luxgen (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Bank of Taiwan will play against KKL (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
