Regular Season Round 16: Palestrina - Teramo 90-74

There was no surprise in Roma where 9th ranked Teramo (6-9) was defeated by third ranked Palestrina (14-3) 90-74 on Sunday. Palestrina looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Mathias Drigo (202-89, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 9 rebounds and forward Davide Serino (199-81) who added 15 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Palestrina players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Andrea LaGioia (193-86) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and guard Francesco Papa (196-95) scored 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Palestrina maintains third position in B with 14-3 record having just one victory less than leader Omegna. Newly promoted Teramo dropped to the eleventh place with nine games lost. Palestrina will face Viterbo SA (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Teramo will play against Scauri (#7) and hope to win that game.
