Regular Season Round 28: Fujian S. - Liaoning FL 116-126

Very expected game in Jinjiang where 15th ranked Fujian (8-20) was defeated by fourth ranked Liaoning Hunters (21-7) 126-116 on Sunday. Liaoning Hunters made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 55.2 percentage. Liaoning Hunters looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Fujian was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) fired 38 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international center Dejun Han (215-89) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. American point guard Dwight Buycks (191-89, college: Marquette) produced 41 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 9 assists and forward Yichao Yi-Chao (195) added 25 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Four Liaoning Hunters and five Fujian players scored in double figures. Liaoning Hunters maintains fourth position with 21-7 record, which they share with Guangsha L. Loser Fujian dropped to the sixteenth place with 20 games lost. Liaoning Hunters will face Sichuan BW (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Fujian will play against the league's leader Shanghai Sharks (#1) and hope to win that game.
