The game in Esch supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Etzella (10-6) played at the court of 6th ranked Basket Esch (8-8). Etzella did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 87-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Basket Esch. Canadian power forward Billy McNutt (203-85) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American power forward Derrick Barden (196-92, college: N.Colorado) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Etzella's coach Jan Enjebo allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American swingman Jermont Horton (198-84, college: Rutgers-Newark) produced 23 points and 7 rebounds and the former international Joe Biever (184-90) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Etzella moved-up to third place. Basket Esch at the other side dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. Etzella's next round opponent will be Sparta (#5) in Bertrange. Basket Esch will play on the road against Residence in Bereldange and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
