Very expected game when 16th ranked Recanati (3-14) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Jesi (8-9) 86-81 on Sunday. Recanati was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Dwayne Davis (196-89, college: S.Mississippi) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Timothy Bowers (188-82, college: Mississippi St.) chipped in 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Jesi players scored in double figures. Forward Jalen Reynolds (208-92, college: Xavier) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and guard Travis Bader (196-91, college: Oakland) added 30 points respectively for the hosts. Jesi maintains ninth place in A2 with 8-9 record. Loser Recanati keeps the sixteenth position with 14 games lost. Jesi will face Imola (#14) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Recanati will play against Udine APU and hope to win that game.
