Regular Season Round 17: Mantova - Treviso Basket 70-71

Important game to mention about took place in Mirandola. Second ranked Treviso Basket (13-4) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked Mantova (10-7) 71-70 on Sunday evening. Treviso Basket made 16-of-16 charity shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. American forward Jesse Perry (200-89, college: Arizona) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds. Point guard Davide Moretti (188-98) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Swingman Alessandro Amici (200-91) answered with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and American LaMarshall Corbett (189-88, college: Angelo St.) added 13 points in the effort for Mantova. Treviso Basket maintains second place in A2 with 13-4 record behind leader Virtus Bologna. Mantova at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Treviso Basket will play against Unieuro Forli (#15) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Mantova will play against the league's leader Virtus Bologna (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
