Very predictable result when sixth ranked Roma Virtus (10-7) beat at home 11th ranked Novipiu Casale (7-10) 79-68 on Sunday. Novipiu Casale was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was naturalized American point guard Anthony Raffa (185-89, college: Co.Carolina) who scored 17 points. American forward John Brown (203-92, college: High Point) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Roma Virtus players scored in double figures. Point guard Giovanni Tomassini (188-88) produced 18 points and the former international guard Brett Blizzard (191-80, college: NC-Wilmington, agency: Interperformances) added 10 points respectively for the guests.
