Bottom-ranked Maccabi K/G managed to get a third victory, breaking the seven-game losing streak on Monday night. This time they won against eighth-ranked Maccabi Haifa 85-80. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Maccabi Haifa. Five Maccabi K/G and four Maccabi Haifa players scored in double figures. Maccabi Haifa's coach Ofer Rahimi tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Maccabi K/G maintains twelfth position with 3-11 record. Loser Maccabi Haifa keeps the eighth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Hapoel Eilat. Maccabi K/G will meet higher ranked Maccabi Rishon (#7) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
