Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked LKS MG13 Lodz (14-5) outleveled at home 8th ranked Shmoolky W-wa (8-11) 78-54 on Wednesday. LKS MG13 Lodz forced 20 Shmoolky W-wa turnovers. Forward Bartlomiej Bartoszewicz (199-92) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Piotr Trepka (182-80) chipped in 9 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Four LKS MG13 Lodz players scored in double figures. LKS MG13 Lodz's coach Piotr Zych felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Point guard Rafal Piesio (178-92) produced 20 points and 5 assists and center Piotr Wojcik (195-87) added 7 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. The victory was the third consecutive win for LKS MG13 Lodz. They maintain fourth place with 14-5 record. Loser Shmoolky W-wa keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. LKS MG13 Lodz will face Ostrow Mazow. (#9) in Ostrow Mazowiecki in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Shmoolky W-wa will play at home against Tur Bielsk Pdl. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
