Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Doha: Qatar Sports Club (#6) and Al Ahli (#5). Qatar Sports Club (5-5) won against visiting Al Ahli (4-6) 68-62. Al Ahli was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 26-18 charge of Qatar Sports Club, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 25 Al Ahli turnovers. American forward Quinton Doggett (206-90, college: Southern) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard James Justice (178-89, college: Martin Methodist) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. Ndoye Seydou Elhadj answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds and Serbian point guard Branko Jereminov (186-87) added 13 points and 9 assists in the effort for Al Ahli. Qatar Sports Club moved-up to fifth place. Al Ahli lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
