Superleague top team - Petrochimi (13-2) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Shahrdari Gorgan (3-12) in Bandar Imam 84-55. Petrochimi made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Petrochimi outrebounded Shahrdari Gorgan 41-26 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman James White (201-82, college: Cincinnati, agency: Three Eye Sports) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 7 rebounds. International Behnam Yakhchali (196-95) contributed with 7 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Croatian power forward Filip Toncinic (212-84, college: Texas A&M-CC) replied with 16 points and swingman Mohammad Hoseinpour (186) added 11 points in the effort for Shahrdari Gorgan. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Petrochimi have an impressive eight-game winning streak.
