Regular Season Round 15: Torun - PGE Turow 97-85

PLK top team - Twarde Pierniki (14-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked PGE Turow (9-7) in Torun 97-85. Twarde Pierniki dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to PGE Turow's 34 and made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. They outrebounded PGE Turow 34-21 including a 28-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Twarde Pierniki players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by PGE Turow helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Twarde Pierniki maintains first place with 14-2 record. PGE Turow at the other side dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. Twarde Pierniki's next round opponent will be Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (#10) on the road and are hoping to win another game. PGE Turow will play against Stabill (#16) and hope to win that game.
