There was a minor upset in Logrono where 12th ranked Castello (9-12) was defeated by fifteenth ranked Cocinas.com (6-14) 81-66 on Friday. Cocinas.com outrebounded Castello 46-18 including a 28-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian power forward Volodymyr Gerun (208-94, college: Portland) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Alberto Ruiz de Galarreta (198-83) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Alex Herrera (206-92, college: Fort Lewis, agency: Two Points) who recorded 12 points and 6 rebounds and guard Eduardo Duran (190-91, agency: Duran International) added 14 points respectively.
