Regular Season Round 18: Udominate - Mark 87-69

Undefeated leader Udominate recorded the eighteenth consecutive victory on Friday night. This time they beat 5th ranked Mark (8-8) 87-69 in Umea. The game was mostly controlled by Udominate. Mark managed to win third quarter 21-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Udominate forced 20 Mark turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Mark's players. Lithuanian point guard Santa Okockyte (175-92) scored 19 points to lead the charge for the winners and Italian guard Iilaria Zanoni (180-86) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Udominate's coach Tamara Ruzic used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was international center Elin Ljunggren (185-96) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Tiasha Gray (170-94, college: Austin Peay St.) scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Five Udominate and four Mark players scored in double figures. Udominate (18-0) have an impressive 18-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 18 victories in a row. Loser Mark keeps the fifth place with eight games lost. Udominate will meet KFUM Ostersund (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Mark will play against Telge and hope to secure a win.
