Fifteenth-ranked Blusens Monbus (4-12) gave a tough game to fourth ranked CB Canarias (13-4) in Santoago de Comp. The visitors from Tenerife managed to secure only one-point victory 82-81. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. CB Canarias made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for point guard Rodrigo San Miguel (186-85) who saved his team from a defeat with 18 points and 4 assists. Five CB Canarias and four Blusens Monbus players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. CB Canarias have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Blusens Monbus lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 12 games lost. CB Canarias' next round opponent will be Sevilla (#10) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Blusens Monbus will play against Movil Estudiantes (#12) in Madrid and hope to win that game.
