Regular Season Round 19: St Vallier - Vitre 73-51

Date: January 21, 2017
Very predictable result when sixth ranked Saint Vallier (11-8) rolled over at home 12th ranked Vitre (8-11) 73-51 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 22 points. Saint Vallier dominated on the defensive end, holding Vitre to just 6 points in fourth quarter. Quite impressive performance for power forward Sade Aded Hussein (208-93) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Jesse Delhomme (189-85) contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Saint Vallier players scored in double figures. Saint Vallier's coach Jean-Sebastien Chardon felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Desmond Quincy-Jones (201-85, college: Pace) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and Montenegrin center Aleksandar Radulovic (207-83) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Vitre. Saint Vallier maintains sixth place with 11-8 record, which they share with Orchies. Vitre lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Saint Vallier will face Angers BC (#12) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Vitre will play against Union Rennes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
