Important game to mention about took place in Rio de Janeiro. Eighth ranked Vivo/Franca (9-7) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging top-ranked Flamengo (11-4) 83-80 on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Henrique Coelho (183-93) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Pedro Lima (191-87) who added 19 points during the contest. Vivo/Franca's coach Helinho Garcia allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side the former international Marquinhos Vieira (207-84) responded with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international forward Olivinha Rodriguez (203-83) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. Five Flamengo players scored in double figures. Vivo/Franca moved-up to sixth place. Defending champion Flamengo dropped to the second position with four games lost. Vivo/Franca will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
