Point guard Dimitris Geromichalos (185-95) scored 16 points and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Norwegian forward Karamo Jawara (203-91, college: N.C.Central) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Doxa Pefkon players scored in double figures. Forward Sokratis Gkelios (200-95) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized Nigerian guard Etinosa Erevbenagie (186-95) scored 15 points and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Doxa Pefkon moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Amyntas Dafnis. Loser Kavala keeps the twelfth position with nine games lost. Doxa Pefkon will face higher ranked Aiolos Astakou (#7) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Kavala will play against Ethnikos (#6) and hope to win that game.
