Very expected game in Tokyo where 5th ranked Yokohama BC (11-20) was rolled over by first ranked Toyota Alvark (24-5) 98-66 on Saturday. The game without a history. Toyota Alvark led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. Toyota Alvark looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Diante Garrett (196-88, college: Iowa St.) who scored 16 points and 4 assists. Swingman Zack Baranski (193-92) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Five Toyota Alvark players scored in double figures. American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) produced 19 points and 5 rebounds and American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (210-90, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Toyota Alvark have an impressive five-game winning streak.
