There was no surprise when 11th ranked Carugate (3-12) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked San Salvatore (7-8) 77-73 on Saturday. San Salvatore made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Carugate turnovers. It was a great evening for the former international guard Cinzia Arioli (178-84, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Guard Ada De Pasquale (173-95) helped adding 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four San Salvatore players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Carlotta Picco (173-96) with 28 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Emily Correal (190-90, college: William & Mary, agency: Interperformances) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds. San Salvatore maintains eighth place with 7-8 record. Carugate lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 12 games lost.
