Very important is a home loss of third ranked AZS UMK Torun (11-6) against fourth ranked Domino Inowr. (12-6) on Saturday night. Host AZS UMK Torun was defeated by Domino Inowr. in a tough game in Torun 78-82. It was a key game for the second position in Group A. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Marcin Majer (199-88) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Michal Warchowski (187-94) who added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Five Domino Inowr. players scored in double figures. Radoslaw Plebanek (190-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds and guard Zbigniew Malinowski (188-84) scored 15 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. AZS UMK Torun's coach Tomasz Lipinski tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Domino Inowr. have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group A, which they share with AZS PGd. AZS UMK Torun at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Domino Inowr. will play against AZS PGd (#3) in Gdansk in the next round, which may be the game of the day. AZS UMK Torun will have a break next round.
