Regular Season Round 27: Inter Bratislava - Rieker KN 90-89

Fifth-ranked Rieker KN (12-11) made lots of trouble for second ranked Inter Bratislava (19-6) on Saturday. Inter Bratislava managed to secure only one-point victory 90-89. However their fans expected easier game. Rieker KN was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 23-17 charge of Inter Bratislava, which allowed them to win the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Bosnian Aleksandar Radukic (207-91, agency: 011 Sports) who scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. Serbian guard Aleksandar Vlahovic (190-90, agency: 011 Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Czech forward Filip Halada (198-92) who recorded 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Slovenian forward Sinisa Bilic (201-89, agency: 011 Sports) added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Five Rieker KN players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava maintains second place with 19-6 record having just two points less than leader Kosice. Rieker KN at the other side keeps the fifth position with 11 games lost. Inter Bratislava are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Nitra (#11) in Nitra in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rieker KN will play at home against the league's leader Kosice (#1) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
