Rather expected game when 8th ranked Weert (1-15) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Amsterdam (7-9) 89-71 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Amsterdam. Weert managed to win third quarter 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Amsterdam forced 19 Weert turnovers. The former international swingman Dimeo Van Der Horst (197-91) fired 25 points for the winners. The former international point guard Aaron Roye (184-88) chipped in 22 points and 5 assists. Four Amsterdam players scored in double figures.
