Bottom-ranked Stabill managed to get a third victory, breaking the series of two consecutive losses on Saturday night. This time they edged sixteenth-ranked TBV Start in Tarnobrzeg 86-83. They outrebounded TBV Start 43-31 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for American Travis Releford (198-90, college: Kansas) who led the winners and scored 31 points and 6 rebounds. Bahamas center Zane Knowles (208-92, college: Texas A&M-CC) accounted for 17 points and 18 rebounds for the winning side. American guard Doug Wiggins (183-88, college: Mountain St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and the other American import guard Nick Kellogg (190-91, college: Ohio) added 14 points respectively for TBV Start in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. TBV Start's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Stabill (3-13) moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Polfarmex Kutno and Start Lublin. Stabill will meet higher ranked PGE Turow (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. TBV Start will play against Wilki Morskie (#6) and hope to secure a win.
