Regular Season Round 14: Reims - Roche 63-55

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Roche (12-2) against fifth ranked Reims (9-5) on Saturday night. Visiting Roche was defeated by Reims in a tough game in Reims 55-63. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Roche. Roche was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 33-20 second half run of Reims. Forward Lindsay Gonzalez (179-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Sarah Ousfar (183-93) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Reims players scored in double figures. Guard Johana Tayeau (173-89) replied with 13 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Elodie Naigre (182-95) added 20 points in the effort for Roche. Reims moved-up to fourth place, which they share with COB Calais and Bretagne Basket. Roche at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. Reims will play against Roannais (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Roche will play against Dunkerque (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
