The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Gorizont (12-2) in Grodno on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Olimpia GrGAU (11-3) 79-72. Gorizont trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 21-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 72-79 at the end of the game. Olimpia GrGAU made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. It was a good game for forward Natallia Dashkevich (188-88) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Olga Kopylova (187-82) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Olimpia GrGAU players scored in double figures. The former international forward Yuliya Rytsikava (181-86) answered with 24 points and 6 rebounds and forward Nadzeya Nadzezhka (180-87) added 19 points in the effort for Gorizont. Olimpia GrGAU is again looking forward to face Gorizont in Minsk in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Gorizont will have a break next round.
