JX-Eneos S. smashed Denso Iris in Kashiwa 70-49. The game without a history. JX-Eneos S. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Denso Iris' 28. JX-Eneos S. forced 21 Denso Iris turnovers and had a 27-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. The former international forward Yuka Mamiya (185-90) nailed a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and international guard Manami Fujioka (168-94) accounted for 7 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. JX-Eneos S.'s coach Tom Hobasu felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international power forward Maki Takada (183-89) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and the former international guard Minami Iju (168-90) added 7 points and 7 assists respectively for Denso Iris in the defeat. Denso Iris will play next round against strong Fujitsu RW trying to get back on the winning streak. JX-Eneos S. will try to continue on its current victory against Mitsubishi K. at Nagoya.
