Regular Season Round 15: GDKO Bizkaia - Segle XXI 71-54

This time GDKO Bizkaia used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Barcelona 71-54 on Sunday night. It was a good game for Cameroonian forward Achiri Ade (185, college: Texas A&M) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Araia Pena contributed with 15 points and 6 assists for the winners. GDKO Bizkaia's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. GDKO Bizkaia (8-7) moved-up to sixth place in Group A. Segle XXI lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. GDKO Bizkaia will face Arxil Pontevedra (#7) on the road in the next round. Segle XXI will play against the league's leader Aros Leon and hope to win that game.
